M油田的下法尔斯地层钻进期间,地层软硬交错且夹层较多,一般的PDC钻头很难获得较多的进尺和较高的机械钻速。为了进一步提高机械钻速和钻井效率,充分分析区块内的地层岩性,统计已钻井的钻头使用情况,并分析测井资料得出地层的岩石力学参数,结合钻头的磨损情况提出了改进型的钻头设计,从而优选出适合下法尔斯地层钻进的PDC钻头。现场3口井的应用表明,机械钻速得到显著提高,单只钻头进尺提高,获得了较好的经济效益。
Abstract:
During the drilling in Lower Fars formation of M oilfield, the formation is hard and soft interlaced with many interbeds, so it is difficult to obtain more footage and higher mechanical drilling speed using general PDC bit. In order to further improve the mechanical drilling speed and drilling efficiency, the lithology of strata in the block is analyzed, the wear of the used drilling bits is counted, and the rock mechanics parameters are obtained according to the logging data. An improved PDC bit was designed for the strata according to bit wear state. The field application of the new PDC bit in 3 wells shows that the improved bit can significantly improve the mechanical drilling speed. The footage of single bit is enhanced and a good economic benefit is obtained.
